During this period, Ryan became known for landing a series of world-first tricks, establishing himself as one of the most innovative riders in the sport. His progression-driven approach soon extended beyond scooters as he began pushing his limits in BMX.

As video platforms expanded, clips of Ryan attempting and landing increasingly complex tricks began circulating worldwide, earning him a reputation for performing combinations previously considered unrealistic. His rapid progression in BMX captured the attention of the wider industry and led to an invitation to compete in Big Air at the X Games.

Williams won the event, marking the start of an extraordinary run of success. Since then, he has accumulated more than ten X Games gold medals across multiple disciplines, including Big Air, Park Best Trick, Dirt, and Dirt Best Trick.
